PIFD Applications are invited for the following vacancies at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design. The prescribed form can be downloaded from www.pifd.edu.pk. - Director Quality Enhancement Cell (equivalent to BPS-20)
- Nature of Post: Temporary likely to be regular/CONTRACT
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree or equivalent with 15 years administrative experience.
- Course Coordinator (equivalent to BPS-19/20)
- Departments: Creative Arts, Furniture Design & Manufacture, Gems & Jewellery Design
- Nature of Post: Temporary likely to be regular/CONTRACT
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree or equivalent with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field.
- Lecturer (equivalent to BPS-18)
- Departments: Fashion Design, Furniture Design and Manufacture, Ceramic and Glass Design, Textile Design
- Nature of Post: Temporary likely to be regular/CONTRACT
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: First professional degree/diploma with major in relevant field and teaching/work experience.
- Deputy Course Coordinator (equivalent to BPS-18)
- Department: Creative Arts
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT basis
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience.
- Teaching Associate (equivalent to BPS-17)
- Departments: Fashion Design, Furniture Design and Manufacture, Gems & Jewellery Design, Ceramic and Glass Design, Textile Design
- Nature of Post: Temporary likely to be regular/CONTRACT
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Minimum 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with experience in an educational institution.
- Nurse (Female) (equivalent to BPS-16)
- Number of Post: ONE (01) Post
- Nature of Post: Temporary likely to be regular/CONTRACT
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in general nursing with two years of experience.
- Assistant (equivalent to BPS-15)
- Number of Post: ONE (01) Post
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT basis
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Graduate with three years’ experience.
- Assistant Warden Hostel (Female) (equivalent to BPS-14)
- Number of Posts: TWO (02) Posts
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Graduate with 02 years relevant experience.
- Lab Assistant
- Number of Post: ONE (01) Post
- Department: Gems & Jewellery Design
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Intermediate with Diploma/Certificate in Gemstone Cutting. Gemology and Gem identification with at least ten (10) years professional experience in the field of Gems and Gemology.
- Footwear Technician
- Number of Post: ONE (01) Post
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis
- Minimum Qualification & Experience: Primary Pass with Eight (08) years’ experience in Shoe Manufacturing industry OR Eight (08) years’ experience of running own small Footwear manufacturing Unit / Workshop.
- Junior Clerk (equivalent to BPS-09)
- Number of Posts: ONE (01) Post
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis
- Minimum Qualification: Intermediate with typing speed in English 30 w.p.m. and knowledge of word-processing.
- Dispatch Attendant (equivalent to BPS-02)
- Number of Posts: ONE (01) Post
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis
- Minimum Qualification: Literate with sound health and relevant experience.
- Helper (equivalent to BPS-01)
- Number of Posts: TWO (02) Posts
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis
- Minimum Qualification: Literate with sound character with one year relevant experience.
- Female Attendant (Day Care Center)
- Number of Posts: TWO (02) Posts
- Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis
- Minimum Qualification: Literate with sound health and relevant experience.
Important Notes: PIFD
- The last date to apply is 6th February 2024.
- All positions are on open merit basis, with a 2% quota for disabled persons.
- Candidates already in Government Service should apply through proper channel.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview.
- Canvassing will disqualify an applicant.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the test/interview.
- PIFD reserves the right to fill or not fill any of the above-mentioned posts and accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
