Job Opportunities at TransKarachi: Join the Game-Changing Project for Karachi

Karachi, the Project Implementation Agency for the Karachi Red Line BRT, is looking for qualified candidates to join their team. If you meet the criteria below, please email your resume to britanskarachi.pk with the job title as the subject.

Positions: Contractual

  1. General Manager Planning and Infrastructure
    • Qualification: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management/Project Management/Transportation Engineering from HEC recognized universities. Foreign qualifications are an added advantage. Training & experience in FIDIC form of contract is a plus.
    • Experience: Minimum 15 years of proven experience, with at least 7 years as Director/Head of a Project Management unit. Large-scale infrastructure projects and BRT experience is highly desirable.
  2. Gender Specialist
    • Qualification: Postgraduate in gender studies, law, social work, public policy, administration, urban development, or related discipline. Foreign qualification is an added advantage.
    • Experience: At least 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. Experience with ADB, Multilateral development banks, and government is highly desirable.
  3. Manager Corporate Communication
    • Qualification: Master’s degree in Media Relationship/Mass Communications/Journalism/Marketing or a related discipline from an HEC recognized university.
    • Experience: 10 years of progressive experience in managing communications, media relations, marketing, and advertising. Demonstrated experience in preparing and implementing communications and marketing strategies is essential.
  4. Manager ITS (Intelligent Transportation System)
    • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical, Telecom, Electronics, or related field from an HEC recognized university. Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Experience: Minimum 6 years of post-qualification professional experience, with at least 2 years of similar experience. Candidates aged 45 and below are preferred.
